Sockets allow you to enhance your gear with Custom Enchants, giving you a crucial advantage in the battles to come. Sockets can be found from multiple different loot tables and come with some specific necessities in order to work and be applied to gear.

Acquiring Sockets

  • Throughout the game, you can discover gear that already has sockets applied
  • These can be obtained through Adventures, Realm shops, etc
  • You can also obtain +1 Socket Expanders with varying success rates (25%, 50%, 75%, 100%)
  • Simply drag and drop them onto the piece of gear to attempt to add an extra socket.
  • If the attempt fails, the socket is lost, but your gear remains unaffected

Tiers and limitations

There are six different tiers of sockets:

  • Basic
  • Elite
  • Legendary
  • Godly
  • Heroic
  • Mythic

Each piece of gear can have one socket from each tier applied, with few exceptions explained below

  • There are special sockets that can only be applied to the specified armor tier!
    • For Example, you can only apply an Elite Chain Socket to Chain Gear!
  • Each socket can hold one enchantment of the same tier or lower
    • For Example, Basic sockets can only contain Basic enchants, while Mythic sockets can contain enchants from any tier
