Enchants are crucial in Cosmic Sky, enhancing your island experience and improving your quality of life or even saving you in PvP battles.

Gems

  • Mystery Gems can be found in many places such as Adventures or Mining
  • Upon reveal, they have a percentage break chance that is triggered when attempting to apply the gem.

NOTE: Break chance only means the gem will break upon failure, not the gear!

Vanilla Enchants

The Enchanter is an essential feature for enhancing your gear with powerful enchantments. To access the Enchanter, you can either run the command /enchanter (available as a rank perk) or right-click any enchantment table. There is also an enchantment table located at spawn, which imposes a 1.5x spawn tax on all purchases.

At the Enchanter, you can buy various enchantment books for your weapons, tools, and armor. The cost of each book is based on the type of gear you're enchanting and is deducted from your XP balance. To see the full list of enchantment book costs or view all available enchantments, simply use the command /enchanter!

Note: Some rare enchantments, such as Sharpness VI, can only be obtained through loot tables and cannot be purchased directly from the Enchanter.

Tinkerer

The Tinkerer allows players to exchange leftover books and enchant gems for rewards. Tinkering books will return XP, while tinkering gems provides secret dust, which has a chance to yield regular dust.

Dust

Dust comes in three tiers: Stone, Iron, and Diamond, and is obtained by tinkering gems. The tier of dust you receive depends on the tier of the gem tinkered (e.g., Iron Gems produce Iron Dust, Diamond Gems produce Diamond Dust). When you right-click Secret Dust, it may reveal itself as Magic Dust with a random percentage, which can then be applied to the specified gem tier to lower their break chance.
