Island Buddys
Island Buddys are special companions that can be obtained as items and redeemed on islands to receive powerful buffs. These helpful friends take up island member spots when spawned but provide significant benefits to island activities and progression.
What are Island Buddys
Island Buddys are obtainable items that, when redeemed on an island, bind to that island and provide various buffs to island members. They will not affect non-island members (perm blocks) or automation systems.
How to Use Island Buddys
- Obtain an Island Buddy item through various means in the game
- Redeem the item on your island to permanently claim it to that island
- The Island Buddy will take up a certain number of island member slots (varies by tier)
- Buffs are automatically applied to island members while the buddy is active
- If the same Buddy type is already claimed, you can only claim another of that type if it has a higher multiplier
Types of Island Buddys
- Overseer Owen – Increased Island EXP earned manually
- Mage Milo – Increased Player EXP earned manually
- Fisher Faye – Increases the /is fishing fish-out limit
- Blacksmith Blaire – Increases the /is tool EXP earned

Important Notes
- Island Buddys affect manual actions; they do not buff automation or non-member grinding
- Buffs only apply to island members, not to perm blocks or non-members
- The number of member slots consumed varies by the Island Buddy and its tier
Obtaining Island Buddys
Island Buddys can be obtained through various methods in the game, including:
