Getting Started

Cosmic Sky is a Minecraft server which puts a unique twist on the notorious Skyblock gamemode! Cosmic Sky includes numerous custom mechanics which expand upon the typical Skyblock goal of obtaining new resources and progressing your island. This server has features for those of all play styles, including bots which automate material harvesting, adventures where players can fight various mobs, and custom PvP mechanics that elevate the competitive experience!

Getting Started

Cosmic Sky offers a unique tutorial system through the /challenges (or /ch) menu. This comprehensive tutorial walks players through the basic mechanics of Skyblock, ensuring that newcomers quickly grasp the essential gameplay elements. Even for players with experience with Skyblock, it is highly recommended players still follow this tutorial as it provides useful starter rewards! The challenges are as follows:

Getting Started - Run /kit starter

• Often players will run /kit starter before reaching this challenge. If this is the case, you are able to run this command regardless of if it is on cooldown to complete this challenge.

Play to Win - Place Trophy Block

• This would have been obtained from your /kit starter. If you lose your trophy block, you can purchase another from the “utility” section of /shop.

Tree Feller - Craft Log Node with Resource Node Fragments from chopping down Trees

• /crafting can be used to view more information regarding different custom crafting recipes

Node Collector - Mine 25x Log Nodes

• Rewards the Player with a full set of Island Tools
  • Hoe Skill Item
  • Pickaxe Skill Item
  • Sword Skill Item
  • Fishing Rod Skill Item

Bonemeal Crafter - Craft 1x Wheat Bonemeal with 2x Charcoal + 4x Resource Cobblestone

• This recipe can be viewed in the “Cobblestone” section of /crafting

Farming Time - Harvest 1x Fully Grown Wheat

• Rewards the player with 2x Rabbit Spawners

Loot Goblin - Run /scav and join a Scavenger Run

• This will be the primary way you will earn items as a new player.

Enchanter - Purchase 1x Stone Enchant Book from /spawn

• There is a tax associated with enchanting while at spawn. Purchase your own enchanting table or access one on another player's island to bypass this tax.

Gearing Up - Add a Vanilla enchantment using an Anvil at /spawn

• There is a tax associated with using an anvil while at spawn. Purchase your own enchanting table or access one on another player's island to bypass this tax.

Professional Chef - Run /recipes

• Rewards the player with the custom recipe: Big Loaf
