Bait Blocks
Bait Blocks attract fish to your island waters.
- Place a Bait Block inside a water block to begin fishing
- After a 60-second respawn time, a fish spawns at the bait block
- Fish spawned from Bait Blocks cannot move and must be slain with a Trident
- Bait Blocks cannot be placed directly next to or above each other
- Each island can place up to 100 Bait Blocks
- Obtained from Island Quests, Adventure, and various other sources
- Craft with 9x Bait Block Fragments (found in /adventure)
Tridents
The Trident is the /is tool for Fishing, used to harvest fish from Bait Blocks. Tridents only function on your island and cannot be used for PVP/PVE.
Throwing:
- Throw your trident to instantly kill any fish it hits
- Throwing awards increased drops from fish slain
- Short cooldown between throws (reducible via Fishing Mask and Trident Attributes)
- 50% chance for thrown tridents to chain to nearby fish, with each chain awarding increased drops
Melee:
- Left-click to deal melee damage to fish
- Higher-tier fish have more HP
- Increase damage via Trident Attributes, earned from leveling your /is tool
