The age of magic meets the age of machines—AetherTech has arrived! This brand-new enchantment rarity is exclusive to The Facility and brings a high-tech twist to PvE combat, progression, and enchant customization.
How AetherTech Works
- AetherTech introduces a new rarity tier of Enchantment Gems, Socket Expanders, and enchant mechanics, available only within The Facility.
- These enchantments can only be revealed using the Golden Forge, which requires both Player EXP
and Science Gold
to activate. - AetherTech Enchantments are applied exclusively to AetherTech Sockets. No other enchant tiers are compatible with these sockets.
- Players may not place AetherTech Gems into standard sockets, and standard enchant gems cannot be applied to AetherTech slots.
- Gems are categorized by tier (Minor, Major, Perfect), and examine costs scale based on tier and rarity.
Science Gold Satchel

- AetherTech Enchantments draw power from Science Gold, a new resource collected and stored using the Science Gold Satchel.
- This satchel is available from the Tier 2 /science Shop for 3x Science Blocks.
- To activate enchantments in combat, players must have a satchel equipped and toggled ON in their off-hand.
- Shift-Right Click the satchel to toggle power status.
Unlocking AetherTech Enchantments

- AetherTech Enchantments cannot be found through traditional enchanting methods.
- Instead, players must interact with the Golden Forge in The Facility to reveal a random enchantment.
- The Forge consumes:
- Player EXP
(amount varies by gem type) - Science Gold
(costs scale by tier/type)
- Player EXP
- Once revealed, the enchantment may be applied to compatible gear if it has an AetherTech Socket.
