Sockets allow you to enhance your gear with custom enchants, giving you a crucial advantage in the battles to come.
Acquiring Sockets

- Throughout the game, you can discover gear that already has sockets applied
- These can be obtained through Adventures, Realm shops, etc
- You can also obtain +1 Socket Expanders with varying success rates (25%, 50%, 75%, 100%)
- Simply drag and drop them onto the piece of gear to attempt to add an extra socket.
- If the attempt fails, the socket is lost, but your great remains unaffected
Tiers and limitations

- There are five different tiers of sockets:
- Uncommon
- Elite
- Rare
- Legendary
- Boss
- Each piece of gear can have one socket from each tier applied, with few exceptions explained below
- Each socket can hold one enchantment of the same tier or lower
- For Example, Uncommon sockets can only contain Uncommon enchants, while Boss sockets can contain enchants from any tier
Special socketed items

- Certain high-tier loot additives, such as bosses or lootboxes can reward you with gear that has multiple sockets of the same tier
