Scavenger

Adventure will be the main way you will obtain most items on Cosmic Sky, and will be key to progressing.

There are three tiers of adventure:

• Abandoned Ruins (Chain)
• Lost Wasteland (Iron)
• Demonic Realm (Diamond)

In addition to these three tiers, each adventure has a scavenger alternative:

• A PVP-disabled adventure that spawns you with a custom kit
  

This scavenger game mode serves as a useful introduction to each new tier of adventure and is a good tool for player progression

What is Scavenger?

Unlike a normal adventure, when teleporting into scavenger you will receive a randomized kit that can be used to fight scavenger mobs and loot chests.

• For each individual scavenger adventure, your kit will scale to your scavenger level
• You can increase your scavenger level up to 100, which you can achieve by gaining scavenger EXP points for that adventure
• By leveling this up, you have a higher chance to spawn with Custom Enchants, Protection 4, Sharpness 5, or Smite 5 gear (Along with other additional bonuses)

Gaining Scavenger EXP

Scavenger EXP can be gained in various different ways, such as the following:

• Extracting from scavenger after completing your scoreboard objectives successfully
• Every 20 mobs kills during a scavenger run
• Clearing a POI

A POI “point of interest” location is a named / important location located somewhere on the scavenger map. When entering one of these locations, a message will appear on the player's screen indicating their entrance to the area. By grinding out mobs in this location, the player will be able to receive bonus scavenger EXP, in addition to the EXP gained from killing mobs during a scavenger run. Heroic and Mythical chests are also more likely to spawn within POI areas.

NOTE: There is a 5 minute cooldown between starting tasks at the same POI

Aditional Features

Scavenger Time Extenders

• Scavenger Time Extenders (Only obtainable from scavenger chests) will give the user additional time in their scavenger run
  • This will not increase their “Player must survive x minutes” scavenger quest
  • These are typically found in increments of 5 minutes, and as they cannot be taken out of scavengers there is no disadvantage to using them

Scavenger EXP Booster

• Scavenger EXP Boosters are obtainable throughout various miscellaneous loot tables on Cosmic Sky.
• Once applied, these boosters will multiply the scavenger EXP a player earns within a specific scavenger type.

Airdrops

These can be spawned as either a natural accordance (Every 30-60 minutes) in scavenger, or spawned by a player using a scavenger envoy flare (obtained from scavenger chests).
This event will summon supply crates to the marked location, which will be guarded by envoy mobs. While these guards are very tanky, they will do minimal damage and thus should be easy to kill, even in a bad scavenger set. These chests have a chance to reward rarer scavenger loot, or items from an additional loot table which has not been made public.
