Cosmic Sky provides various ways to communicate with the community and your friends through custom chat options.

  • Run /Chat to view all chat options
  • You can choose between public chats, like Global, Advertisement, or Help, or more private and exclusive chats.
  • Keep in mind that all public chats are actively moderated by staff. To avoid penalties, such as being chat-muted, make sure to follow the in-game rules when participating!




Available Chats

Chat Type Description
Global Enabled for all, talk to every player!
Island Island Chat is used to talk exclusively to whoever is online on the island you are on
Alliance Alliance Chat is used to talk exclusively to other members of your alliance
Ally Ally Chat is used to talk exclusively to alliances that you are allied to
Truce Truce Chat is used to talk exclusively with alliances that you are truced to
Advertisement Advertisement Chat is used to advertise Items to Buy/Sell, your island warp, and any other advertisement.
Chat sent in the advertisement channel will have [AD] in front of them and also have orange text.
Help The Help Chat is used by players to ask for assistance from other players or staff.
Messages in Global Chat (/c g) with specific help-related keywords are automatically moved to the Help Chat.
These messages look like regular Global Chat messages but have a bold purple "HELP" label at the front.

Chat Quick Commands

  • Every /chat channel can be activated, disabled, and toggled from the /chat or /c GUI. But on top of the GUI, you can type a few shorthand commands to toggle between chats quickly.
