A familiar sight for OG Cosmic players, White Scrolls are back on Cosmic Sky!

How White Scrolls Work

  • Applying a White Scroll to a weapon or armor piece has a 50% success rate; on failure the scroll is consumed and no protection is applied.
  • Apply a successfully used White Scroll to prevent that item from being lost on death.
  • On death, any Whitescrolled item that would normally drop will instead be KEPT and the White Scroll is consumed.
  • Each piece of gear can hold up to 3 White Scrolls before becoming fully corrupted—after 3 uses no further Scrolls can be applied.
  • White Scrolls always function for Chaotic players and also protect gear on Neutral death (including items in your inventory, e.g. a secondary Whitescrolled set).
  • If the gear would already have been saved without a White Scroll (Lawful death, Neutral death with Gear Saver skill, Bottle of Light, etc.), the Scroll is not consumed.

Corruption & Aftermath

  • Consuming White Scrolls begins to corrupt the gear.
  • After dying with Whitescrolled gear:
    • Gems can no longer be extracted via the /gemforge.
    • Gems can still be removed with a Black Scroll.
    • You may add or remove enchants as normal, but gem extraction will fail.
  • If you have applied fewer than 3 Scrolls and have not yet died, you may safely extract gems without consuming a Scroll.
