Get your masks ready, and head to the Vaults! Vault Raids are an Adventure event where cosmonauts can infiltrate guarded vaults and claim powerful loot by defeating Vault Guards and opening Vault Chests.

Vaults now come in multiple types, each offering different risks and rewards across Adventures.

What are Vault Raids

Vault Raids are Adventure events where players can team up to infiltrate a vault filled with guarded treasure chests. Using a Vault Key found from /adventures, players can unlock access to a limited-time raid filled with Vault Guards and Vault Chests containing high-tier loot.

Players must be /advlevel 5 in order to enter a Vault Raid.
Only 10 players can enter a Vault Raid at a time.
Vault Entrances are located within Adventure Maps.
Different Adventures may contain different types of Vaults.

How Vault Raids Work

Starting a Vault Raid:

Find a Vault Key from /adventures.
Take that Vault Key to a Vault Entrance located within the Adventure Map.
Upon entering the Vault Entrance, if you have a Vault Key in your inventory you will automatically start a 60 second countdown to open the Vault.
During these 60 seconds, anyone nearby can also enter the Vault Entrance and join when the countdown completes.

Inside the Vault:

After the 60 seconds, players are teleported into the Vault Raid.
A randomized amount of Vault Chests and Vault Guards are spawned within the main Vault room.
Vault Chests are locked until the guarding Vault Guard is slain, after which the Vault Chest can be opened and looted.

Exiting the Vault:

After 2 minutes have passed, players receive a 60 second warning before the Vault automatically closes and teleports players out.
Players may leave early via the exit platform at the back of the Vault.
After exiting, players cannot re-enter until another Vault Key is used.
Once a Vault Raid completes, the Vault enters a 5 minute cooldown before another raid can begin.

Vault Types

Vaults can appear in different combat rule zones across Adventures. While the mechanics remain the same, the risk level and reward potential may vary depending on Vault type.

Lawful Vaults

Lawful Vaults are the original Vault Raids found within Lawful areas of Adventures.

Located within Lawful Zones of Adventure maps.
PvP rules follow standard Lawful Adventure rules.
Uses standard Vault Keys to open.
Rewards scale based on the Vault Keycard tier used.

Lawful Vaults are ideal for coordinated teams seeking reliable Vault Raid rewards with lower risk from player combat.

Neutral Vaults

Ready for the big leagues? Neutral Vaults are a higher-risk Vault Raid variant found within Neutral areas of Adventures.

Found in the North-West corner of the three main Adventures.
Within the Abyss, the Neutral Vault is located inside the Red Zone.
Vault entrances are located in Neutral Zones, and combat rules remain Neutral inside the Vault.
Neutral Vaults have a higher chance to reward players with higher-tier loot when Vault Chests are opened.
Neutral Vaults are opened using the same Vault Key as Lawful Vaults.

Vault Keycard Tiers

Vault Keycard Vault Keycards come in tiers, from Basic to Mythic.

The tier of Vault Key is the lowest tier of Loot that can generate in a Vault Raid when using that Key.
Using a Basic Keycard can still spawn up to Mythic Loot, at weighted spawn rates.
Lower tier Keys spawn more chests with more items per chest.
Higher tier Keys have better odds for high-tier loot, but spawn fewer chests with fewer items.

Vault Guards

Vault Guards are powerful enemies that spawn within Vaults to protect treasure chests.

Each Vault Chest is guarded by a corresponding Vault Guard.
The Vault Chest remains locked until its Vault Guard is defeated.
Once the Vault Guard is slain, the chest becomes unlocked and can be looted by any player in the raid.
