Cosmic Sky provides various ways to communicate with the community and your friends through custom chat options.
- Run /Chat to view all chat options
- You can choose between public chats, like Global, Advertisement, or Local, or more private and exclusive chats.
- Keep in mind that all public chats are actively moderated by staff. To avoid penalties, such as being chat-muted, make sure to follow the in-game rules when participating!
Available Chats
| Chat Type | Description |
|---|---|
| Global | Enabled for all, talk to every player! |
| Island | Island Chat is used to talk exclusively to whoever is online on the island you are on. |
| Alliance | Alliance Chat is used to talk exclusively to other members of your alliance. |
| Local | Local Chat is used to talk to people on your local server. |
| Advertisement | Advertisement Chat is used to advertise items to buy/sell, your island warp, and any other advertisement. Chat sent in the advertisement channel will have [AD] in front of them and also have orange text. |
Chat Quick Commands
- Every /chat channel can be activated, disabled, and toggled from the /chat or /c GUI. But on top of the GUI, you can type a few shorthand commands to toggle between chats quickly.
